Anna Sergeyevna Koournikova (born in Russian) is an American born professional tennis player and TV personality. It was her fame and appearance that helped make her one of the most well-known tennis players around the globe. Anna Kournikova was a famous Russian tennis player, who in the past was considered to be the most famous female player in the sport. Kournikova was a moderately skilled singles tennis player, was an incredibly successful doubles player. The partnership she formed with Martina Hingis received widespread praise for the success of their partnership. In addition to her modelling assignments, she gained widespread notoriety for her appearance. Nowadays, she's one of the most sought-after athletes on the web. Kournikova played the ball fast and quickly on the singles court. She was a modern baseline player. Her game was predicated on a strong return and deep groundstrokes. She also stepped up to the net every time she had an opportunity. Kournikova was born in Moscow and had two professional sportsmen as her parents. She at 16 managed to reach into the semifinals of Wimbledon. However, she was forced to withdraw from tennis professionally at the age of 21 due to to severe back problems.
